A 28-year old legal executive, Chester Lee Tian Mun, was sentenced to 1 month’s imprisonment after pleading guilty to offences for insulting the modesty of woman – he had placed his mobile phone under the skirt of a woman and recorded a video while on an MRT train.

- He pleaded guilty to 2 charges. 1 charge was taken into consideration for the purpose of sentencing.
- He had first recorded an upskirt video of the victim on an SBS Transit bus by placing his phone inside a plastic bag.
- When both he and the victim were alighted the bus and boarded an MRT train at Tiong Bahru MRT station, he stood close to the victim and used the same method to record another upskirt video of the victim.
- In mitigation, Lee’s criminal defence lawyer informed the Court that Lee provides financial support for his mother and elder sister, and that he had bright future and held a degree in business from a UK university and also a diploma in law and management from Temasek Polytechnic.
