A 32-year old bank executive, Maha Vignesh Velippan, was sentenced to eight weeks’ imprisonment after pleading guilty to offences involving insulting the modesty of women by taking upskirt videos of them and the possession of obscene films.
Maha Vignesh had insulted the modesty of women by taking upskirt videos more than 90 times by the time he was ultimately caught on 7 June 2011 by the final victim whom had seen felt him standing very close to her behind her on an escalator while carrying a paper bag containing a mobile phone with its camera lens pointing at her.
